Harvest Detroit

Pharming Detroit, a study and proposal for reuse, renewal, and industry growth. The programs focus for the final Master Studio class was to target an emerging industry in downtown Detroit. Urban farming was evolving, and a Biopharmaceutical program at Wayne State University was being discussed. Thus, a facility to support the growth of both was proposed, as one could aid the other. The program would include a Biomedical engineering lab, a community accessible Health & nutrition education program, hazardous materials management for public land, and FDA regulations for distribution.
